Alrighty then. Deviations and out-of-order presentations aside…

Me being the Subaru/Seishiro whore that I am, I will eternally regard this as my celebrated volume of X TV. Their representation of their battle, while in my thought was not NEARLY long enough, was unexcited intense enough to grab my attention and preserve it riveted. *cripes, I’ve forgotten how to spell!*

The other episodes, after the travesty that was ‘Slaughter,’ failed to tag me though. Yuzu-chan’s episode was cutsey and Fuuma’s utterly kick-ass, but I was unruffled a bit too demolished emotionally to luxuriate in them. Perhaps it’s because I watched the last 2 minutes of ‘Slaughter’ so many times over that I was troubled my drive would launch eating at my DVD in drawl.

I clap merrily for the director for keeping the beauty of Subaru and Seishiro’s scenes intact. However, I’m quiet of the notion that anime Sei-chan’s fugly compared to his manga self, and definately a dog compared to his Tokyo Babylon representation. And Subaru had his dreadful camera angle moments, too – unbiased slay the bish goodness, why don’t'cha.

Wish they hadn’t prick out the kiss in Sei-chan’s side chronicle, but guess you can’t preserve everything – especially with Clamp works and censors interested.

Just someone deliver me – did anyone else gather the sure impression that the animators had stared at Tokyo Babylon Fragment One forever to be inspired for that heart-breaking photograph at the kill?

I’m going to go eye ‘Slaughter’ again and bawl now. Gaw, I adore it!

I found that a few of the first six DVDs (which will be eight total, the last two not yet released) included episodes that lacked yarn development and consisted mainly of flashbacks and lengthy dialogue, but the three episodes on X [six] were arresting, piquant, and generally a gargantuan step towards the upcoming finale. I almost cried over episode 16, the first of three on the disc, because of the well-written and beautifully tantalizing encounter between Seishiro and Subaru, which interested thoughtful imagery and an unexpected but very exciting revelation about the relationship between the two. Episode 17 offers some more insight into the Dragons of Heaven and the Dragons of Earth, winding down a bit from the action of 16, but a worthy needed shatter after the high levels of emotion in 16. Episode 18 continued with more action-packed events, and also offered a closer peep into the thoughts of Kusanagi, a rather unwilling Dragon of Earth. Episode 18 ended in yet another emotional scene inspiring Yuzuriha and her dog Inuki.

Having waited some time for the release of this DVD, I am extremely ecstatic and again impressed with CLAMP’s skills. Despite the piquant cliffhanger ending of X [five], I was beginning to derive unfortunate with feelings that the series was not as well-paced as I originally view, but after watching the three episodes of X [six], I can safely say that X continues to be my all-time common anime series.

This is definitely a MUST Acquire DVD for any die-hard euro-horror fan! This ridiculous and extremely lively 1965 Italian horror-romp stars Mickey Hargitay (Jayne Mansfield’s husband) as “The Crimson Executioner”. He struts around bare-chested wearing red tights and admiring his muscular body in the mirror as he rubs it all over with oil. When a film crew comes to his castle, he starts torturing and killing them off one by one, overacting all the design! Mickey is a just ham and jumps around the conceal like a lunatic throughout. One spacious highlight is a room with a giant spiderweb and a hungry spider. And then, of course, there’s the torture chamber. There’s a rotating torture contrivance that Mickey ties bikini-clad women up to and as it turns a racy blade rips and tears at their skimpy brassieres and lightly scrapes their flesh! And with Mickey running around half-naked throughout in his red tights, were they also going for a overjoyed audience? It’s all quite tame by today’s standards, but at the time, this must have been quite a sensation! It’s a sizable sleaze-trash classic NOT TO BE MISSED!

The DVD presents the film in it’s U.S. 73-minute abbreviated version. 9 minutes were trimmed out of the complete version (“A Narrative of Torture”) by it’s American distributor. The deleted scenes are included as a supplement (including the alternate title sequence), but it’s too unpleasant they didn’t restore the footage serve into the film. Something Peculiar offers the complete 83 dinky version “A Epic of Torture” on VHS under the “Bloody Pit” title so you would have opinion this would be the same print. BUT it’s not… maybe because the print dilapidated here looks a lot better than the “Torture” print and it’s fully letterboxed whereas the “Torture” print was only marginally letterboxed. Also, the movie has never looked better than this transfer…the colors are vibrant and gripping and the detail is quite trustworthy (although there is some minor artifacting) . So, having the deleted scenes as a supplement only was probably a wonderful decision.

Other extras include a rather ancient (and kind of lame) U.S. trailer, a clip from the movie “Ancient Cherish” with Jayne and Mickey shot around the same time and another clip called “Cloak Girl Slaughter” which shows a lurid magazine camouflage photo shoot featuring women staged in cancel or death scenes (mildly laughable) . The best extra is the gallery of exploitation art and ad-slicks for lots of ultra-rare alarm and trash flicks from the 60’s and 70’s. It’s accompanied by an audio track of rare radio spots including the eminent “Last House on the Left” – It’s Only a Movie area, the “Notice of the Devil” – Vomit Bag status and many more! All in all a colossal DVD. Grasp It Now!

STORY: Seeking a gothic background for a anxiety photo shoot, five sexy hide girls and a handful of photographers crash into what they bewitch is an uninhabited castle and are soon taking a series of macabre stills in its dungeon. But–surprise!–residing in the castle is demented actor Travis Anderson (Mickey Hargitay) who thinks he’s the reincarnation of The Crimson Executioner, a 17th century madman whose body is entombed in the castle’s iron maiden. When Travis recognizes one of the models as his ancient fiancee, his already unhinged mind completely snaps. He gleefully subjects the trespassers to a variety of bizarre and elaborately-conceived tortures: “The Crimson Executioner cries out for blood!”

PICTURE: 4/5 Where did Something Uncommon Video net this print? It looks ample! Bloody Pit of Fear is shown here in PsychoVision (1.85:1) and like i said looks titanic. The narrate is appealing with nice stong colors and deep blacks. I only saw two scenes that had print hurt and it was not distracting at all. Overall, a vast looking relate for such a aged film.

SOUND: 4/5 The sound is Mono English dubbed and sounds very respectable. The track is super and sounds certain.

EXTRAS: 3/5 You rep some really unique stuff here. First you catch the films trailer which does not perceive no where as pleasurable as the film looks. Next you net some deleted scenes, a long art galley with some cold radio region for a ton of other films and some peculiar short films.

OVERALL: 5/5 If your a fan of movies that are so unpleasant that there marvelous, then this DVD of Blood Pit of Anxiety is for you. Retract it up today. Plus, Mickey Hargitay’s performance as the Crimson Executioner is so crazy and goofy, you have to gaze it!

Hideously kinky, delightfully unfavorable and woefully witty… this is Ken Russell’s masterpiece! Where else can you peek ex-”Dynasty” trollop Catherine Oxenberg trussed up as a virginal pagan sacrifice to a 90-foot long demonic albino snake? Or ex-L.A. Lawyer Amanda Donahoe running around in unprejudiced a thin layer electric blue bodypaint and two-inch snake fangs? Or the pre-”Four Weddings and a Funeral” Hugh Grant act like the smug, upper-class twit that he is instead of a hangdog petrified wimp? What a substantial movie!

The DVD looks superior… not a spacious improvement over the VHS release, but the trailers and TV spots are comical and Ken Russell’s commentary is amusing and animated. I highly reccomend this film for anyone who likes vampires, thigh-high leather boots, Tommy: the Movie or dry-humored immortal pagan snake-god priestesses. Hail Dionin!

This one was despised by the serious critics, but all that means is that they weren’t exclusive enough to savor it. All upright, it’s trash. But it’s grand trash. It’s my thought of a feel-good movie. It’s kinky, erotic, scary, and comic. And gleaming. Literally. After zillions of creepy, sunless, scary scenes in movies, the sunshine and well-lit rooms in this one emphasize the dread scenes. But who cares about the lighting? It’s main attraction is an over-the-top performance by Amanda Donohoe as a very terrible girl. Upper-crust Hugh Grant and his cohorts have a lot of fun trying to evade her slithery bewitch. That’s about all you need to know. But for heaven’s sakes, don’t consume it seriously. If you disfavor it, you’ll really disapprove it.

This film contains several ample twists and displays a truly talented side of Ryan Reynolds in which I would like to gape more of. The soundtrack was generous, paring the honest music at the suitable moment and pulling you into the character’s pain. The only thing keeping me from giving this film five stars was the beginning of the movie. It didn’t hook me until about 25 minutes in, and then I wished it didn’t raze. The supporting cast was righteous, and Reynolds’ character brings an appropriate amount of silly relief mixed with his unraveling.

I have always been a immense Crocodile Dundee fan. This DVD spot was fair the effect. They were all satisfactory quality, and I was especially impressed with the case. Most DVD sets advance with each DVD being individually cased. This site came with honest one normal size case, but it was able to accommodate all three DVD and I was able to fit it in my DVD rack. A accurate room saver. The delivery time was superior as well.

I hadn’t seen the third one. It was dazzling unpleasant as I guessed it would be. Fortunately the first 2 mild own up to the memories I had of them.

I was unsure of how the video transfer to DVD would be for a 20 year traditional TV explain. I was surprised to score that it has only a small amount of graininess and shrimp or no detectable video noise! Some episodes are better than others, but I found the video quality to be quite genuine. Certainly the represent is worthy better than what I study on my cable signal. The audio, Dolby Digital 2.0, is acceptable for a sit-com. The voices are understandable with only occasional distortion. The audio sounded a shrimp flat at times.

“The Guys Slow the Bar” discusses Season 2 in general. I didn’t procure it to be very spicy and I probably won’t spy it again. “Cliff’s Notes”, “Carla The Comeback Queen”, “Di Another Day” do not fill original footage. Instead, they showed clips from several episodes that demonstrate off the named actor/actress. They were nicely done. The bloopers segment was laugh out loud comical, although it was short. The extras are not a reason to win the DVD status, in my idea.

I like Shelley Long and Season 2 has several episodes about the on-off relationship between her and Ted Danson. Many episodes are very amusing. I liked the episode “Honest Three Friends”. Markie Post plays Diane’s friend who is attracted to Ted Danson! “Cheers” does a qualified job of portraying everyday conflicts, and the fact that it is place in a bar becomes unimportant.

I truly enjoyed this movie – and wouldn’t hesitate to allow some of my young children to look it! There is no rotten language, and dating and first crush situations were handled very tastefully – and even with a flair of innocence about them! I happen to be the oldest of 7, my husband is one of 8, and together we have 5 children – so we are very remarkable pro sizable families. It is very refreshing to seek a sure narrative appealing not one, but TWO spacious families! In this day and age where society pushes the conception that 1 or 2 children makes the perfect family, this movie gives the viewer a fairly apt eye of what life can be like with many more siblings. Of course there will be times of pains and disagreements, but there is also plenty of fancy to go around, and this is the ultimate conclusion of this movie – in BOTH families! There are many lessons to be learned in this film – not the least of which is the need to have a distinct vision of what is more notable in life. Both fathers in this record are struggling with competitiveness that has become an obsession, but I found it truly bright when Steve Martin’s character chooses to forfeit the final tie-breaking event because of the potential risk to his 9-months-pregnant daughter. His was the choice of a lawful champion, and in the slay, both fathers near to view that their families are so noteworthy more notable than winning another trophy! What a truly refreshing message to families and young people who are being bombarded with messages of “me first” and “inspect out for number one!”

I most certainly do not regret the time and money spent to ogle this film! If you are tired of all the sex, violence and gore reveal in so noteworthy of today’s movie choices, I suggest you give this film a try. It is rare to streak out of a movie theater feeling uplifted, but that is exactly what this film did for me!

Depending where you at when you observe this flick, but if you’re on your ski vacation, then watching this film you’ll forget that your snowboard is outside and that it’s frosty, because the film concerns a family vacation at a lake around labor day.

Steve Martin is silly as always and there are a few unique lines and ideas. And determined there are a couple of tiresome scenes that should have been left out, but not too abominable so that your 8-year musty can probably calm glance it without asking too many questions. Eugene Levy (probably not as well known by his name to too many folks) is good and I like him goofing off even more than Martin for the most portion.

The storyline is about two extended families that apparently had a type of rivalry going on for many years, and now they meet at that particular lake again and on labor day they have a family competition there and so on. While Martin plays the loving Baker dad who’s not too well off financially, Levy plays the now wealthy Murtaugh dad who’s on his third marriage (with Carmen Elektra as number 3) and who owns most of the land around the lake.
